Hi folks
This will be the last Sunday café meet for the club this year, we will restart in March 2012, but that doesn’t mean we will have nothing to do
At this meet we are presenting 2 cheques for £400 each to Cornwall and Devon Air Ambulances, this has come from the takings for our Show on the Hoe 2011, a big jump from the total of £300 last year We have provisionally booked for bowling on Sunday 20th Nov at Trethawn Leisure near Launceston, we need definite numbers attending ASAP or alternatively I will rebook for after Christmas Price is £8.50 per person for 2 games Christmas dinner is booked for Saturday 17th Dec at 6pm The menu is available in the restaurant or on line, Price is £16.95 for a 3 course meal, we need definite numbers to book the tables We are looking at having a club easter party on Sat April 14th with a band, DJ and buffet at the Taphouse village hall, large hall and cheap beer, for members, family and friends, about £5 per person Quite a few members have shown interest in going to the Americana show at Newark, it is a huge show with thousands of American cars, bikes and trucks, over 80 bands and loads of trade stands running from Thursday to Monday, we have pre-book forms for 2012 if your interested It’s a great family weekend of everything American Watch the web site and face book for updates, and please let us know of any event you hear of or anything you would like to do If you fancy a club T-shirt or bowling shirt please let us know size etc Bye for now
